Meat that has been cut into long pieces, flavoured with spices and dried.
Village Biltong was started as a furlough project based out of our home in Etwall, Derbyshire in 2021. We took our passion for cooking and creating things and turned it to the production of dried meats.
Fast forward to 2023 and we have been awarded the Best Food Exhibitor award at the Derbyshire County Show 2022 as well as achieving a Great Taste Award for our chilli biltong.
We love seeing and hearing about people enjoying our award winning product, nothing gives us more of a kick than hearing a positive review (except our handmade Chilli Snapsticks!).
Over the last year we have experimented and refined our unique chilli spice blend, alongside traditional South African recipes into what we think is the perfect iteration of Biltong. We only use the best locally sourced British beef and the entire process is in house. From farm to table the ultimate power protein snack.
